Communities in Motion
Marquita offers Miracles in Motion Movement Healing Workshops in person and online. These workshops focus on themes such as inner child healing, ancestral veneration, and personal transformation. She also offers healing retreats if you want a more concentrated deep dive into your inner work with a group of
like-minded individuals.

Marquita is a multidisciplinary artist who has been dancing and creating movement for over 30 years. Check out her creative work.

My name is Marquita
I started dancing when I was 4 years old.
I LOVE dance! I received a liver transplant on
December 1, 2016. I take receiving the gift of life
seriously. It is my goal to help you heal--whether you need someone to listen to you or if you need help moving through trauma. I want to move with you and encourage you to let your inner child have joy! I want to support your connection to your guides and ancestors and so much more! It brings me so much joy to help you at whatever stage you are in on your healing journey. I am honored to work with you and will do so with compassion, empathy, and integrity.

Miracles
On view April 18, 2025, at the Tubman African American Museum, Miracles celebrates the depth and diversity of Black artistic expression. More than an exhibition, it honors survival, relience, and revival, paying tribute to the legacy of Miracles Fine Art Gallery and the Redd family's longstanding dedication to preserving Black culture.
